Never Forget That Special Goal!
The goal plaque will typically show the key involvements in the lead up to the goal. Every goal is different so these plaques will always be made to suit the occasion. As well as the goal diagram, there will be information about the match, the date, venue, teams involved as well as anything else required. You can see from the gallery some of the extra detail such as the player's name and number as well as messages that can be added.
Materials & Sizes
The design shown is made from black aluminium which is engraved to show through silver. The aluminium is 250 x 180mm and is then inset flush into a clear acrylic frame measuring 275 x 205mm. A single sided design like this one is designed to hang on a wall with invisible fixings. Other colour combinations are available.
Free Standing and Double Sided
As with all the designs the reverse side of the plaque can be used in the same way and thereby lends itself better to a free standing version. This style is ideal if you'd like to add a special message or additional detail. The photo shown here shows an example of the back and how the plaque stands up using a metal pin.
The metal and indeed the acrylic can be made in various colours and combinations. The black/clear combination is the most popular.
These can be made to a size to suit you. The size of 300 x 230mm works well for the information included in this example and is a perfect size to sit on a desk. Larger sizes can be made for bigger wall spaces.
Traditionally Framed
Another option is to have your plaque framed in a more traditional style. This way the overall piece is much bigger and offers some alternative options such as an additional plaque with career stats or something else within the mount. The mounts and frames can also be colour co-ordinated to suit team colours or any other requirements. Steve Foster shows an example in this photo!
Further options include having the plaque unframed, allowing you to have it framed in concert with a match shirt, at a later date, for example.
